VoiceForge Privacy Policy.

How VoiceForge handles on-device audio, optional accounts, rewards, purchases and advertising.

This policy applies to VoiceForge for Android and the optional account and related backend services configured for it. VoiceForge provides live voice monitoring and effects, voice presets, processed-voice recording, playback/sharing, optional background music and on-device WAV mix export. The exact availability of online account, reward, purchase and ad features depends on the installed version and the production services configured by the publisher.

1. Microphone audio and local files

VoiceForge requests microphone permission so you can use live voice monitoring, voice effects and recording. In the current native audio implementation, microphone audio is processed on the device for these features and is not uploaded to the VoiceForge account API for voice processing. Saved recordings, voice presets, selected background-music files and exported WAV files are stored or processed locally unless you explicitly choose to share or export a file to another destination. When you use Android's share sheet or another app to share a file, that destination receives the content you selected.

Voice presets may be imported, duplicated, exported as JSON, played back or deleted. Voice recordings can be played, shared or deleted in the app. A mixed voice-and-music WAV export is rendered on-device from a saved recording and the selected track. Deleting a VoiceForge server account does not erase local recordings, local presets, exports or files you shared with other apps.

2. Account information and online requests

If you choose to register or sign in, VoiceForge's configured backend processes your email address, password (stored on the server as a password hash), optional display name, account timestamps, session information, reward balance, bonus voice slots, quest claims and Pro-entitlement status. The app stores the account email and access token in app-private preferences on the device; the backend stores a hash of its session token rather than the original token. The app may contact the configured backend for sign-in, profile updates, quest lists/claims, configuration, reward validation, purchase-entitlement requests and account deletion. Production API endpoints should use HTTPS.

The configured hosting provider may retain routine operational, security, error or network logs needed to maintain and protect the service. Do not include private or sensitive information in your display name or any optional fields that are not needed by a feature.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Google Play handles checkout and payment details for any subscription or one-time purchase. VoiceForge receives purchase information such as product identifiers and purchase status. The app's purchase-verification flow can send the product ID and purchase token to the configured VoiceForge backend when verification is called; server-side Google Play verification depends on the production backend configuration and is not enabled by default in the reviewed repository. Google processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. Deleting a VoiceForge account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; manage or cancel subscriptions separately in Google Play.

4. Advertising and consent

The source includes Google AdMob banner/rewarded-ad components and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising consent. Whether ads are served depends on the version and ad-unit configuration used for the installed build; the repository uses Google test ad IDs by default. If advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising services may process device identifiers, IP/network information, ad requests and interactions, diagnostics, and consent choices as described in Google's applicable policies. The app checks the SDK consent state before requesting ads and provides privacy options when the SDK requires them. Rewarded-ad callbacks and reward claims may be sent to the configured backend when those features are enabled.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Voice recordings and raw microphone samples are not sent to the VoiceForge account backend for processing in the current implementation. Account and reward information may be processed by the hosting/database provider configured by the publisher. Google Play processes purchases; Google AdMob/UMP may process advertising and consent information when configured. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or its security. If you explicitly share an audio file, the chosen destination handles it under its own terms.

6. Retention and account deletion

You can request permanent deletion through Account & Rewards → Delete Account Permanently in the app. When confirmed by the backend, this removes the account profile and password hash, active sessions, reward balances, quest-claim history, rewarded-ad tokens/transactions and stored purchase-entitlement records associated with the account from the operational database. If you cannot access the app, email bs080402270@gmail.com from the account address and ask for VoiceForge account deletion; we may need to verify account ownership.

Account deletion does not remove recordings, presets, exported files or backups stored locally on your device, does not delete information already sent to another app, and does not cancel Google Play subscriptions. Delete local files separately and cancel purchases in Google Play. Limited copies may remain temporarily in routine backups or security logs until normal retention cycles expire, or where retention is required for legal, security or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Security

The app and backend use platform permissions, app-private storage, password hashing, short-lived sessions, server-side access checks and HTTPS when properly configured. No device, storage method or online transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your Android system updated, use a screen lock, protect account credentials and only share audio files with destinations you trust.

8. Permissions and your choices

  • You can deny or revoke microphone access in Android settings, but Live Voice and recording features will not work without it.
  • You can manage advertising consent and privacy options in the app when available.
  • You can export or delete local presets and recordings in the app, and separately remove files shared or exported elsewhere.
  • You can log out, request account deletion, and manage Google Play purchases separately in Google Play.

9. Children's privacy

VoiceForge is a general voice-processing utility, not designed specifically for children. The publisher should configure the Google Play audience and age disclosures to match the actual distribution. We do not knowingly seek to collect children's personal information through the account service.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when VoiceForge features, production configuration, providers or data practices change. This policy should be reviewed before each release that enables a new service, such as production ads, purchase verification, analytics or a new backend integration.
